Name
Identity Futures
Purpose
The Purpose of the Identity Futures Group is to engage in interactive (shallower) and indepth consideration of potential future events and scenarios for an identity layer of the web.
Principles
Same as IC.
Practices
We will work to apply best of professional practices of Scenario Planning and other methodologies.
We will work to make our work inclusive of a diverse range of communities.
If we do paid for events a percentage will go back to IC.
Requirements of Participation and How to Join
We will start a mailing list shortly.
Licenses and/or Restrictions on Usage of Work Product
Creative Commons with Attribution for our work together - it is also important that it is contextualized.
Current Deliverables and Milestones
We already have completed one miles stone - generating 50+ events. We layed them out on as wall map
the photo of that has not been published yet and it needs to be translated into another form to view the contents.
Our Next Milestone is to take those results further by working with them to grow scenarios.
Current Meeting Schedule
We will have a Bay Area meeting for those interested early in the new year.
