Data Sharing Summit
Purpose
The Purpose of Data Sharing Summit is to convene open meetings specifically around the topic of data sharing between social networking and other sites.
Principles
We support the community of people interested in data sharing coming together and meeting.
We use highly participatory processes for our meetings.
Workshops are financially self-sustaining through user fees for event attendance and sponsorships.
Practices
We call together a design committee together from the community to help shape the design of the conferences.
Requirements of Participation and How to Join
Talk to Marc Canter and Kaliya Hamlin about joining as an active participation in event production.
Licenses and/or Restrictions on Usage of Work Product
Content of our conferences is documented on the wiki and is publically avaliable. (more will be written)
Current Deliverables and Milestones
We plan to host several datasharing summits around the world this year.
