Successes

  • OASIS Open XRI TC successfully brought the TC spec to the OASIS Open General Vote for it to become the OASIS Standard.
  • The OASIS vote got 98 votes, which is one of the highest in the history. The composition was 73 yes against 25 no.

Breakdowns

  • XRI Standard vote failed just by the factor of one negative vote, and has to go another rev.
    • Having said this, good sign is there that W3C TAG is now engaged in the dialogue, and we are starting to understand their concerns.
